Do you wake up on Mondays feeling moody, funky and anxious? You’re not alone.
Did you know that Monday is ruled by the Moon and connected to your emotions, it is also associated with the Sacral Chakra. When the Sacral Chakra is out of balanced, you may experience guilt, shame, judgement and blame. When the Sacral Chakra is energetically flowing, you may experience confidence, connecting with your feminine energy and creative.
The Moon rotates every 2.5 to 3 days, so depending on what Astrological Sign the Moon is in on that Monday, may contribute to your emotional ups and downs.
I invite you to implement the following rituals into practice:
> Apply one drop of Neroli or Jasmine Essential Oil (I recommend Doterra Essential Oils and for sensitive skin use a carrier oil) below your navel to help activate your Sacral Chakra and improve your mood and energy.
> Drink 8 ounces of warm or hot water with Lemon or Peppermint Essential Oil, 30 minutes before breakfast.
> Breakfast is essential to keeping your energy high. Consume foods high fiber, lean protein and healthy fat (one cup of blueberries, 4 small strawberries, spoon of flaxseed and handful of almonds is a perfect choice). This will help avoid cravings and glucose spikes, which contributes to mood swings.
> Start your day with 10 to 15 minutes of movement (weight lifting, dancing and stretching), this will help to activate your Chakras (Sacral Energy).
